Topic #57589 7 posts Started by mikecelica
I spray tinted my taillights a few months ago but noticed recently that the lights have become realy "dry" looking, is there something i can spray on it to get rid of that? Cant really explain it , i'll have some pics tmrw.
Also another question I had might as well post here instead of making a whole new thread, im gonna be getting the invader bodykit and i was wondering how long can i drop the car and still be safe enough to not hit the bumper on speedbumps and stuff? thanks

if the tint is too dark on your tails, just get brighter bulbs..go with LED bulbs or higher end ones, they are usually alot brighter then the crappy oem ones you get from canadian tire.
i think he means the paint is really dry... i dunno.. clear coat it? wax/polish it? *shrugz* nvr tinted tails before

Where can I get the LED bulbs or higher end ones to fit my taillights? What size is the taillight bulbs? thanks
i donno any speedshops up in ottawa, but if you can find a speedshop up there, see if they carry brands like PIAA, or Nokya, even lower end bright bulbs work, like the eurolight bulbs. For LED ones, you can get them from crappy tire for like...$8 or somethin a bulb, but watch out cuz the pins on them break easily. If your tails look kinda flat, if you used VHT nightshades paint, thats just the way it looks. You can clear coat it to give it some shein, but other then that, nothing else you can really do.
