So after 4 hours of cleaning, washing, polishing, and waxing Jeff's beat-up hood, it's got some of the gloss back. Combined with my new hatch and spoiler, DAMN! I wish I could bring her to this show!

ok, meet is in a few days. How is everyone doing? Has anybody forgotten about this meet? I will be departing at Marco's house in the morning to get to the meet early so we can set up everything and be ready. I thought I would be more excited about this meet, but I'm kind of w/e about it right now. I know my car should have been worked on and it should be completed by now with a brand new paint job, but more important things have come up. My car is going to be in the show either way, I would just like to apologize for not being able to represent the Celica community as well as I would like to.

my car has been somewhat neglected as well. haven't had the time to get her up to show status. but whatev... i think she looks pretty good from a distance. its when you get up close that you start noticing the lil dents and scratches and electrical tape and what-not. but yeah, i'll see you guys there. and hopefully marco gets his car done in time.

so far it should be done by Saturday....but yeah its cool itll be a entered hang out meet at the show, were really not gonna get all hardcore trying to get a trophy so yeah we will just pretty much chill....but i still havent heard of TY regestering yet.... and i still havent got an e-mail on the show schedule for Sunday.....hmm...

If you don't have my number, it's written in the 3rd stall of the ladies room at the MGM grand, floor 8 west wing, and floor 12 south wing, 2nd stall. I don't remember what time this meet ends, but unless I'm extremely tired afterwards, I will still be hanging out with a few members. Bobza is the bestest. Wait Xavier! Where are you working at? Sorry guys I know it's last minute but I'm going to have to miss this one. I had surgery on Tuesday and I still can't fully turn my neck and I can't lift my arm above my chest so driving (or even sitting in) a car is out of the question for me. anywho, marco... good to know your car's coming back together. cutting it kinda close. mine's just showing as is. i attempted some minor mods, but hit a major speed bump so i'm just gonna scratch those plans till after the show. btw has anyone gotten any info yet? or blue... just let me know what time my car has to be there.

Joe, I have just recieved a confirmation email. We should arrive sometime between 9am-10am. Since we are registered in the show, it is required that we stay until after the awards ceremony. It said something about choosing Group A or Group B upon entrance, but idk what that means. I will try to arrive there at 8am, would you like to meet up first so that we can park by each other? I'm not sure if there is even going to be a class for us anymore. From the looks of it, there are only 2 Celicas making an appearance (you and I). Alone, we no longer meet the 5 car requirement for a Toyota Class. Hopefully other Toyotas have entered (hopefully crappy ones too so we can win something). But I hope we have fun. I'm somewhat excited for it, but I'm not really jumping for joy. As if I ever do.

Alright Joe, looks as though Marco and I will be meeting at your house in the morning and then crusing to the meet from there.

Christina, you are the only member on the attending only list. I think it would be most convenient for you to find us at the meet later on. Reason being is because Marco, Joe and I will be entering the show at 8am-9am. The show does not start until 11am, and we will have to stay there until the awards ceremony is over (the show ends at 6pm) so we will be stuck there for ass long time. But if you would really like to enter in the morning with us, then that's no problem at all. You can go to the spectator parking lot that they mentioned and then we can pick you up so that you can enter the show early with us. I know I know, that would mean you would have to leave Alexi unattended. I wouldn't want him to feel left out, especially because he just left me a myspace comment. But it's up to you if you'd like to wake up early or sleep in. (I personally would choose to sleep in because I am a fan of sleep).

Wow that was a long paragraph. Everybody meet there! I didn't realize the show was so long. Ugh, I hope the awards ceremony is about halfway through the meet because I really don't want to walk around in the sun for 10+ hours.. It's like I'm at work!

Dude, you have nothing to worry about. Marco and I ran out of time and were not able to finish up our cars on time. My paint still looks like poop, and I still have electrical tape on the side of my car. I wish I could have gotten everything finished, but I guess there's always next week. I would have gotten my Celica painted by now, but I haven't decided on the color for sure yet.

THE 411 on STREET MACHINE BATTLE:

First off I want to deeply thank everyone who came out in the hot weather. There were LOTS of very nice cars--- A++ Nice rides everyone!

Now secondly to let you all know i was DEEPLY DISAPOINTED in the organization and judging at the show, and with the lack of gratitude (they didn’t even acknowledge my support when they were saying their “thanks”).



Thirdly: Keep in Mind I was A CO-HOST; I did not make a dime off of this show nor would I want to. I’m just in it for meeting great people and seeing some nice cars. However, I was frustrated at how things were looking at the show; it wasn’t horrible, but it wasn’t good either. The entertainment was on a big low which ticked me off because I gave them dj contacts and supposedly there was going to be a lot of happenings.

so I’m in the same boat as all of you.
