Hey Guys! I am new to the site and just purchased a 1994 Toyota Celica Gt about two weeks ago. This is my first car and i wanted to find out what upgrades you guys recommended to get and witch upgrades to do first. Thank you!

Hey, welcome to the site. I recommend fixing the car up so it's running smooth and then from there it all depends on your interests. Post some pics too.
good to have you bro. just browse around the site and get to know your celi and the people in the community

Thanks Ill put up some pics as soon as i get it back! Its in the shop right now I should get it back in about 2 days. Unfortunately it had alot more problems than i thought. Originally I brought it to the shop to get the antenna fixed and to have the engine flushed but it turns out it needs about $2250 of work.
welcome.

the first thing to think of is TLC for your car. oil change (you may want to think about synthetic for high mileage cars), radiator flush and fill (often neglected and can save you cash down the road), transmission service (another neglected item), have your clutch checked and or replaced (often abused). make sure your alignment is good and for Pete's sake check your tire pressure every time you fill up and your fluid levels once a month.

WHICH upgrades come first is up to you. If you have mad cash, get a "real" engine. 3000-5000$. If you want to improve its curbside appeal, lowering springs, struts or coilovers, rims and tires 1000-2500$. If you want to make noise a decent headunit, 2-3 amps, 4-6 speakers and a sub. short ram intakes and coffee can mufflers are not allowed on 6th generation toyota Celicas it's on page 37 of your operator's manual.

best of luck. have fun...we do!!
