so You might have ur own ways and this might sound stupid, but while cleaning my car i woulc never get all the sand and dirt out of my floormats with the shop vac, so i woudl take them outside and beat them and i could never get them completely clean. if you also have this problem then you should do what i started doing. take them inside, throw them on the floor and use a regular vacuum on them. they come out looking BRAND NEW. >

I do the exact same thing because I'm anal about keeping my mats clean!
you kinda look stupid though if you're like me and throw your mats at the ground like you are crazy...

I throw them in the washing machine. It does them no harm.
Just changed my mats to some neat rubber ones with an alloy foot plate. Shouldn't wear through as bad as carpet and easy to clean - just run a hose pipe on it >
