Alright, I'm gonna give this organizing thing a shot...even though most of the work is already done for me (since it's basically a meet at a meet). This might be the closest we'll get to a South Bay meet until I get off my lazy ass and organize something serious though...Derrick, feel free to step in if/when I fail


So who's going? I checked out last year's thread and it sounds like there was only ONE 6gc there (MasonF).
We should meet up somewhere and cruise to the show so we can park together and take pictures! Because I'm a dork and that's one of my favorite parts of our meets...when stuff like this:

Well you probably wondered why I didn't make a thread for this myself. Sadly, It's because I will not be able to attend Toyotafest this year . How sad right? I'm sure you can handle the organization of this meet on your own, but if you require any type of assistance of a co-host, then you know where to find me . I'll contribute what I can, even though I'm not attending . Here are the details of ToyotaFest.

What: ToyotaFest/TORC event
When: Saturday May 3rd, 2008 9am-3pm
Where: Longbeach City College
Cost: $5 entrance fee (if you can pull off being 12 or under you can get in for free .) Free Parking

Getting everyone together is up to you Christina . Just come up with a meeting place and time, and you're all ready to go. As of right now, I know that Ty (GMHAPPY29) has already registered his car in the meet.

Yup, I'm registered. I know the gates open at 7:30 for registered cars to set up. I am supposed to receive a packet in the mail anytime now to explain the rest. It will probably be too early to meet up with anyone for me but don't forget to take pictures of the 6GC cars in the show . I also enjoy the picture taking part of our meets . Hope to see alot of you there. Derrick is your car not entered or are you not going all together? I hope not because you will be missed .

Registration for ToyotaFest is now closed. All spaces have been filled, for those who have already registered, your package should be arriving in the mail by the end of the week .

I will not be attending at all. But I would still like a lot of people to show up to this . I'm sure you won't miss me too much hahaha. I'll make a MaskedMan plush doll which can be taken to meets that I cannot attend. It will have a matching MaskedMan mobile, with the yellow high beams and everything .

Alright, this is just a week from today basically. Get ready guys, it's going to be a great time .

Looks like it'll be a two-car meet (unless Andrew wants to meet up with us to caravan there)...I'll try to get my brother to roll with us; he drives a Solara, but at least we'll be keeping it in the Toyota family, haha.

I wish I could remember who was urging me to go to Toyotafest when I said I wasn't a few weeks ago...I'd ask him why the hell he isn't going now

Woah woah woah, a 2 car meet? Wait a minute... this doesn't add up. Here are a few reasons to attend this meet..

*It's ToyotaFest! The biggest Toyota meet of the year!
*It only happens once a year!
*We need to make it bigger than a 2 car meet!
*Christina is taking the time to host a meet, so you better cooperate!
*Joe is going! Everyone loves Joe! He's a superstar!
*Andrew and Ty will be showing their cars!

Oh c'mon, bribery and blackmailing are the tactics I use. It just works so very well.



The plush is still undergoing planning as we speak. Designs have been thought out, and legally issues are being put into effect. Once people see the Derrick plush at ToyotaFest, then everyone is going to want one. I need to make sure that there aren't going to be a bunch of plush Derricks around town. My Celica feels the same way.
