Curren/JDM Tails - 6G Celicas Forums

So i have on my list of things to buy for my celica JDM tails(along with way to much other stuff smile.gif) But everytime i find some tail lights for my coupe they say either curren or coupe tail lights... What is the difference? IS there a difference with curren tail lights?

^^^ $10 would be a hell of a deeal if that was the final bid lol...yes, curren tail lights and our stock coupe/vert tails are interchangable w/ out modifications. Most people get Curren tail lights b/c they look alot nicer than our stock taillights in the U.S.

So curren tail lights and JDM taillights are the same thing?

No, the design is a bit different. but the coup/vert and the hatchback have different asses. Coup/vert guys have a narrower rear, where as the hatch back guys have a big ol' wide booty laugh.gif

but really, the fit is indeed different; and so is the style.

Curren taillights or "Currens" when people refer to them, are talking about the JDM, smoked lower lens. USDM are the ugly ones. they are one for one swap when it comes to fitment. so whether the thread or sale says Coupe or Currens, they will fit. just make sure you ask for pics to make sure you don't order the same ones you already have.
