Jason, I think that we have posted this up alot. but it can't hurt to keep doing it till we finally get to see it. But if he ever sees this post maybe he will finally get the idea that we all want to see it.

last i talked to him he had to sell his computer to pay for some transmission problems he had with his celica

so....unless he starts getting VERY large tips from delivering pizzas around Chatt. i dont think he's gonna be around anytime soon

i've given up on ever seeing it. at least i was there i guess. i hate when people don't follow through w/ **** they KEEP sayin they're goin to. really bad show of character. >>. personally, i woulda had them up the day i got home, or at the lastest, the day after....but that's just me i guess..

So, when did we hang out Capncrakhed? Only time I ever saw you was at the meet.

Anyways, not to be an a$$ about it, but I was told Celica.net would host it. So I said, give me an FTP address I can upload it to. I didn't get a response.

And don't start flaming about someone not getting things done because I actually have things that NEED to get done. Hell, I haven't even gotten around to banging out my dents and ordering new turn signals so I can put my new bumper on(not an accident, I ordered a Blitz style front, and it takes 96+ lights instead of 94-95, the rear has had a dent for over a year now).

If you give me somewhere to upload the vids like I asked to start with, then maybe we will get somewhere. Untill then I only get 10MB with Comcast, and the cable modem is too slow to handle the traffic that would come from hosting them myself. Not to mention the fact that editing the videos is very time consuming(our cameraman didn't do the best job, leaving very few small bits I can actually use, but hey, he tried). Next time I will probably ride with someone or invest in some camera mounts.

So if you want to blame anyone, blame the one who said Clay would host it and then never put me in touch with him. As for the DVDs, demand overwhelmed my meager resources(what would you rather do, pay for postage on 10+ DVDs or put gas in the car and eat?). As of right now I'm at a dead end job making 7.50 an hour. A mechanics job is in the works, although after all the minivans I've worked on in the past month, I might not want it.

And in other news, I have found another Celica owner to bring with me to the next meet. And one of our friends is looking at a 94 that needs front end work.

Almost forgot, anyone with my phone numbers, my old cell phone is disconnected(313-5103, T-Mobile sucks), and the old house number is gone(876-9911, it was a second line that was no longer needed thanks to cable modems). Just remember, this is the first time I've been online in about a month, and I'm only here long enough to reply to this because I have to wake up in less than 4 hours to being my mom to the airport.

update: Pimp Cat says he will put them up on celica.net for us when we get it all in order.......just how big are these files Aaron?

Sorry, don't touch Kazaa, too much federal activity right now(try DC++, IRC, or newsgroups).
I have the large version on my drive now(17GB, it came straight from the mini-DV tape), so it won't take much to squeeze it down. The full thing should end up at about 600M, and a 5 minute clip will be around 40-60.
If I go any lower than that, it will look like crap.

As far as getting in touch, no one even tried emailing me. Although I will be online more for the next few weeks(moving again at the first of the month, once that's done, I'll be online a lot).

I'll contact Clay and see which he wants. I can set up a server so that he can grab the files he wants(would do this for everyone, but cable modem isn't fast enough for this).

wouldn't that work......u can get ahold of clay or pimpcat. maybe clay could compress the files once he gets them

Just got in for the night. I PMd Clay on Celica.net and am waiting to hear back.

As far as sending the main file before compression, it's way too big. Using my maximum upload speed it would probably take a couple days. If I compress it and then he gets it, it will only take a couple hours.
