This is the scoop...I have been trying to look and I am about to give up...right now I have no time bc I got to do a bunch of stuff for so many peoples birthdays....anyway my bestfriends birthday is coming up and I need to order the diver side mirror for her car bc she keeps complaining about it being broken. She has a 2008 ford escape im not sure if its xls or xlt or w/e i can find out tonight when i see her car but I dont think that changes the body styling any. What I am going to do is borrow her car on her bday bc she will be at the mets game...I will replace the mirror and give the car a nice washing inside and out. Later I will return it to her and wait for her to notice. Any help or links? Thanks 6gc!

Do you know if that particular mirror is interchangeable with other model years? Also, what color should it be? (In a perfect world, of course)

Just the glass is broken so I was hoping that was all that needed to be changed but the car is a light misty blue silver....I'm not sure the exact color....I"m gonna see the car in a few mins...so maybe Ill check to see if the mirrors are black or not bc some cars have black mirrors. I have no idea if the mirrors can be interchanged or not...ford parts department was closed...im going to call again tomorrow.

I think glass is super easy and relatively cheap to have cut for that stuff; have you called a glass shop? Meantime I'll look around on CL around here and see if I can't find anything!

shannon, they make just the replacement glass for the mirrors.
hit your local ford dealer, or just about any body shop should be able to get it for you.
if you have trouble, gimme a call, i can prolly get it thru the shop.
