Just kiddin' I totaly agree that there are a lot of useless replys but most of the valuable threads are thoroughly cleaned by moderators.

I think compared to most car forums, this one has strict rules and is well run.

I agree. I hate when useless people make useless posts. The site becomes cluttered, less mature, the site doesn't look as professional.
I will return one day.

X2.
unfortunatly, there is no real way to "clean up" the posts, without generally pissing the people off and such, which is not what we are here to do.
the only thing we can do is try and help the misinformed become informed, and help them learn, much in the same way we did.

I´ve got to ask.
"less mature, the site doesn´t look as professional"
I really thought these car forums are about helping others and having fun! I really didn´t believe that someone hoped that this site would be more mature and seem professional to someone random who visits here. I thought we were doing this to ourselves.

The reason he says we don't look as mature or professional is b/c we don't want people to start thinking of this site as filled with a bunch of "ricer" kids that aren't smart about driving. I mean look at honda-tech, not all of the members drive riced out cars and go street racing every friday night, but some of the comments left by members there (along w/ the section "kill stories"
-which is posting illegal content) have given them a bad reputation.

Yep, there are a lot of helpful and knowledgeable people on here, which are the kind of people that we want to stick around, and don't want them to be driven away by the place being overrun with people who just come on here to have fun.
It is at the end of the day, a 6GC celica forum which should be the main focus, we all like to have fun, but the site needs to present a mature attitude to keep it informative.
that's what i think anyway.
