What I'm working on now [sneak peak - 10 Bonus Points to anyone who can Identify what's on the screen in the pic ]:

with DVD player showing [once I install the rams it won't lower that far - just exactly as much as the screen goes up with synched movement for that ultra pimp look ]:

I call it the SRS Audio/Video System
I've manufactured the mount and the armatures for folding back to stock SRS Airbag look and also the various bezils for making it look professional [That's hand bent/fitted brushed aluminum plates on the side and texture matched and fitted covers on either side of that to hide the remainder of the hole left when the SRS door is open]. Now I just need to source a pair of 6" 12v rams to actuate it and decide on the location of the other screen and get it going. Here is a pic from before the bezils were fabbed up that shows a discarded idea of where to mount the other screen. I thought I might mount it there with a release so I could move it to the driver's side when parked and bored - but I don't really like that idea so now I'm trying to find a better place.:


And some other little things I've been up to while working out the SRS DVD System - Finally found a place for all those limited badges:


Now to finish painting all the tan plastics and source some Black visors [they do exist right? shout out if you got a pair! ], headliner and carpet.
Now shopping with the GF is much less boring [which I understand I'll be doing quite a bit of tonight - she needs a new bathing suit for the supplier pool party I must attend tommorrow ]

Man, i'm tellin ya, i still wanna glass an enclosure for that DVD player, and clean up those edges a big more. just on the back side of the flip a bit. Smooth it over

I'm not done with the underside of the lid. I'm gonna make some cardboard backed black velvet peices for there that will eventually match the little oval door card/armrest thingies and front seats once I get them redone in velvet/leather.

And you can deff have my seats when i swap.

And I've got black visors. But that driver side recently tore (remember the convert top hooked into it )... It could probably be repaired... I'm gunna be replacing it soon. If you want i'll trade you when i get that garage. i'll be doing a color schem through out the car, and they faded OEM look just dont work for me...

Or i'll help you find a pair and you just sell me your old ones. (but i like your fabric better than the vynal-ish ones i got)

Come on - noone knows what's on the screen? The title character character of the show is slightly visible but it's not the one in center - you can see the back of his/her head speaking to the more visible character in the center. Someone guessed rugrats via PM but altho it looks like it - it's not. Same channel tho. Hint - the show was too cool/controversial for Nicktoons so had to be canceled [Best cartoon of the modern era IMO].

Your '94 doesn't have a passenger side airbag does it? I thought they were only optional until '96?

Update: Since I'm back in the need parts stage and the setup is functional as-is [just no motorized movement ] I decided to start Phase 3 - made killer progress on that yesterday and this morning before work. I'll post some pics of that in here when I get time to finalize and prettify everything. Not much to look at so far.

I'm 99% sure you're incorrect.
My '94 came from dealer with both drivers and pass side airbags.

2) IDK about DEATH's car being a 94... one of his previous (15) 6gc's may have been a 94 (lol) but i know for a fact this one has an external ignition coil as well. (96-99 style).... but then again, it could be a conversion Who knows

my celica dash doesn't have a passenger side air bag
