Some of you know my car is in the process of being painted. Well, i had this dream last night that my roof was a color shift from orange to black, mostly black. And the same goes for the trunk. Now my car was originally going to be orange with a zyclone CF hood. but now after this dream im thinkin about doing the roof and trunk a color shift into black.
any thoughts?

Honestly, colour shifts aint my thing.. so i'd say hold back.
But of couse at the end of the day its your car, if you really like the idea go with it.

If you're going with the c/f hood, then to have the roof an trunk black may look cool. Especially if you have dark tints.
Dunno. I prefer a simpler clean look, but it may work.

well idk i was playing Juiced 2 and made the gt-four orange with a CF and black roof and trunk. i thought it looked pretty sick.

Solid Black would look pretty good imo. Esp if theres carbon involved.
As long as doesn't throw the symmetry of the car off, and is offset well with another colour.
Thing about celica is it has quite delicate lines, so ya gotta be carefull, subtle!

i like it, i think its hot. Def would have to cf overlay the roof to pull that off, it can be done im praticing on a parts car this week
I was gunna do something similar to those pixs you got up, (but was talked out of it, lol.) but having the vert, it would have been the hood (stylish to have CF hood and a bright/hot color body paint) and then wrap my trunk lid as well...
But then went against it due to the heat of the fuzz in my local neighborhoods, just though it'd be too much of a beaken of trouble

CF wrapping your OEM stuff is cheap and easy. prob like $150... even if you dont have an acct with anyone, i'd imagine $150/material would be the worst of it @ list pricing.....

Maybe if you chop hood in 2... stick half of it onto roof, blend it in with fiberglass filler... use the other half on trunk,
but have a good bit sticking out to produce sort of a make shift carbon spolier "effect", problem solved, lol.
Seriously tho, carbon/semi gloss/orange does sound good... those juiced pics look good, i think you could pull it off.

awe man you just took my idea. i was going to go for a blakc car with a modified zyclone front, cf hood, roof skin and hatch...or flat black instead of cf......i say do it...not orange though

thats actually what im planning to do for my car ive been planning to repaint my car anthracite gray metallic with black roof cf hood and trunk lowered on tein coil overs and bronze TE-37s, id say go for the black roof
What about doing the A pillars too mate, personally think it looks a bit dumb with the orange lines going up and over on each side, but if they were black too it may look better.
well i decided that im going to just have the orange and CF hood, no roof or trunk. If i had a hatch i definatly would do the roof and hatch. Im not sure how it would look on a coupe so im just stayin CFhood and orange.
