i was just playing around on some jdm websites and they have caveliers. but i guess in japan they are called toyota caveliers. would i be able to use the disk off of a z24 cavelier to do a conversion on my 97 st hatchback?

its been done. but not from a cavalier. you need the brake assembly from the gt (i've also heard of using 5gc gts brakes).

http://www.6gc.net/howto/convert_rear_drums_to_discsi kno that im just wondering if you can use the parts from a cavelier. more of a comon car. cheaper alternitive possibley?
No... a Cavalier is NOT toyota... it's a rebadged GM (Toyota Cavalier that is). Likewise... you can't put Pontiac G6 stuff on a Pontiac Vibe... because two different manufactures make the cars... regardless of which brand-name it's sold under.

You know I was gonna say, isn't a Cavalier a Chevy? I remember those from the 80s. They were fugly back then.
i thought it was worth asking because theres ties between toyota and GM. like rebadging as you would say then the geo prizm and such.
