Topic #58748 11 posts Started by ej8ferio702
hey whats up guys...i just have a question about wheel fitment.. does anybody here have a staggered set rim on their 6GC? i am planning on getting a staggered set of rims, This one in particular, i was just wondering if they will fit nicely or will i have any problem at all??? i really like how it looks on my red celica and my friend is letting his set of these rims and tires go for really cheap($400 used for 4months with about 75% thread left) any help will greatly be appreciated and if anybody can photoshop this particular rim on a lowered red 6gc itll even be better=] thanks in advance!
I'm lowered 2.2 F and 1.5 R on these rims. Just got it done last night. Sits nice, and I love them. Front is flush but rear isn't, got spacers but no studs shhaha...

thank you very much sir =] your car looks sexy! can you please take a better pic of the rear wheels i want to see how the lip looks, just to give me an idea on what to expect..and how big are your rims exactly?? thanks again for your help! i really like the red on black combo thats why i decided to go for the rims like yours
Bloody Beautiful!
Your right some spacers and you'll be set. I know the next exterior mod my lil red coupe is getting...
it looks good staggered, however having staggered tires on a car that is not RWD does not make much sense to me. The whole object of staggered tires is to have more rubber for more traction on the drive wheels which in our case would be the front wheels.

I am not bashing you, because it does look good, im just more for functionality than looks. just my $0.02
Mines are not staggered.

my bad, i thought you were posting up a pic of you with staggared wheels

Definately not staggered, or else there would be a larger lip/flushness in the rear.

99GT - your wheels look like +42mm offset. You need a 5-10mm spacer in the rears.

edit: and you need bigger tires.

i like the staggered look cuz it looks nice.. about the functionality.. it does make sense having bigger tires on the drive tires but since our cars are fornt wheel drive it doesnt really add up to make sense but hey as i said i like how it looks and dont mind being laughed at by others lol..
