I'm thinking of getting an HID kit for my lowbeams and right now i'm still using my stock headlamps (9006 connection). I bought a set of used projectors which use H4 connectors. Do I need to get an H4 HID kit or can I just get a 9006 kit instead?

Does the HID kit type (H4 or 9006) depend on what connectors are being used (9006) or the bulb type being used (H4)? hope that makes sense........

it's the bulb type i believe so you would need the h4 for the projectors.
