Topic #59037 9 posts Started by vmobiler1
Hi all, is anyone on here from the UK or anywhere else in the world that can supply me with parts for my car??? Been told it`s a SS-III with superstrut suspension... can anyone idetify my car???

I`m after some(lots) of help her i`ve bought a 95 celica with a 2.0l engine but nowhere does it say what model it is, i`ve snapped a driveshaft and tried one of a 2.0 GT model and it is shorter and thinner than mine! I`ve welded it up just so i can move the car around, But now i`m having problems !!!

The car will not drive i can select gears but not move!

Things i need for MOT-

* suspension bushes
* rear brake discs and pads
* will need a new o/s driveshaft

will need other parts too just cant get to garage to see!!!

Thanks Karl
it can't hurt to go to your local toyota dealership and ask for help if no one answers your q's
Thanks mate- but i tried that with the drive shaft £750 !!! the car is only worth a little more than that!
What's the Model number on the VIN plate.

if it's an SS-III it should read: E-ST202-BLMZF

That's a Japanese import SS-II not SS-III

Check that link i put above, right at the bottom it has pictures of the 2 suspension types, that'll tell you if it has superstrut or not. It could be either.

I`ll have a look when it`s stopped raining!

so its a SS- II , do these have upgrades driveshafts also ? as i`ve tried fitting 2 of the same year 2.0l cars and neither fit!

As far as i know the driveshafts should not be different.

Are you sure they were for the gen 6?

Imports/UK cars have the same components so i don't know why they didn't fit kindasad.gif

I cant seem to get the pics on here to show you but they are both from gen 6 cars. think the splines on one were 28 and mine was 32 if my memory serves me right mine was noticably thicker. just been told it makes a difference if it has LSD gearbox ... is this right?
