wnt to St. Simons island in GA, a 500 mile round trip. Never driven more than 100 at a time. I have been replacing stuff so i can feel safe it wont break..

4k rpm, full a/c, never overheated. Cold as a fridge (with the insulation) and best of all 27 mpg..

1/4 of the trip was topless.

Thats a ride!!!!! thumbsup.gif , i want to do it again.....

I just had a great experience driving mine from here to Torrance, CA. I was scared it would break down because every car I have owned (This is my 4th and my 1st car was pretty much new and not a POS) has broken down on me before. Finally maned up since I did my own radiator and an aluminum one at that and new hoses, and just went down there. Perfect experience and not a single bad thing happened. I just wanted to share my experience with yours, because I know how good it feels. 2 hour drive - 5 hour round trip and used half a tank of gas. It was great!

I was in the same boat as both of you. My trip was about 600 round trip. windows wide open on the freeway. What could be better.
