Just for your info - that's hardly a CCR song [Any more than it is a Marilyn Manson song]. That song goes waaaaaay back and has been covered by many famous acts including the two I just metioned.
As a side note - If you've never heard Marilyn Manson's version you should check it out. It can be found on the Lost Highways soundtrack. Much better than that drivel he's producing now.

Actually I HAVE heard it covered by other groups, that's just the best known one. The first version I remember was from The Crazy World of Arthur Brown.

The only thing that was actually music was the guitar and i don't even think that was that great. It was just people talking and you can hardly hear them...

I've done a industrial version with a backup band at Mardi Gras back in '03 or '04 [I forget - the one before the storms]. No way I'm posting that one. Strange how I have almost no stage fright but posting online seems like forever [or perhaps it's the sheer size of the crowd?]
