So the 94's and earlier wont fit either? Thats wierd.
well the 94-95 will fit eachother.. but its the 96-99 that doesnt fit ours

the only way to get clear turns on the pre-facelift (94-95 front bumper cover) is to custom make some yourself or buy new lenses from wolfie (member on the site). granted they are kinda pricey but he custom makes them and they are oem quality if not better. a lot of members have them. some people have put 5th gen clear signals in but they don't really fit flush.
Call me a traitor! See if I care. ;)
makin my own

Or convert to the bumper

Sorry if its a dumb question but is the only diffrence between the 94,95 and 96 and up just how the turn signals fit or do they look diffrent.
5th gen turns will fit 94-95 bumpers. Yes, the bumper is different than the "facelift" bumper, which is 96-99.
These are for a 5th gen but will fit our car:

You can also search "Turn Signal" for 199-1993 Toyota Celica in eBay motors, it returned about 20 listings

As goferris kindly pointed out, the only way to get a true OEM look/style is to fit my clear lenses which are a near perfect copy of the originals.
They aren't cheap as they're individually hand cast and then oven cured before trimming, finishing and polishing.

To me the amber is nicer. Its JDM style. Plus the clear ones you make yourself don't look as good as the 96 to 99's.

One tip regards removing the lenses, I'd suggest only putting one unit in the oven at a time, and placing them on an oven glove rather than a metal tray to reduce chance of damage. When refitting my clears, no extra adhesive is required as they are the exact shape and priofile that they fit perfect using the original mastic left in the groove round the edge. It's a good idea to thoroughly wash the units in warm soapy water and using a small flat screwdriver, poke the remaining mastic evenly down into the channel all round.
If you're as fussy as me, you might like to mask off the edgewith the mastic in and then chrome spray the reflector which will probably look rather dull. This brightens the whole look of the unit and is well worth the trouble IMHO.
I'm just finishing a couple of pairs so I'll post a close up pic later so you can see the detail

no i didnt i wish i did but i didnt have any adhesive substance to use
yes the amber looks nice but it would hurt to have clears. especially when i got the signal housings free

I REALLY recommend those side marker lights from "neondials" I just ordered mine from him off eBay a few weeks ago and installed them...they look great and the packaging I got them in were awesome. Heres a pic of my car with them installed, sorry for size, but its a great wallpaper if you want my car on your desktop

Oh I still have the smoke-tinted amber turn signals in the storage. But I installed Wolfie's clear turns almost a year now.
