Possibly its your mods or it could just be the way you are driving it. The Toyota engines rev pretty high. Take it onto an open road, keep it in second or thrid and floor it. Past 4500 revs you should feel the car suddenly pick up.
yeah ive found after about 4500-5000 revs it picks up pretty well just under that it seems slow
