I had a Creature of the Night Sticker that i bought in Austin when Rita or what ever that Hurricane was that was coming to hit Houston a while back, i put it on my car and not 2 days later someone had scratched it off, i was waiting to put that sticker on a car i was going to keep for a long time, i was pissed.
That's pretty ballsy to take something off a car like that. And particularly intolerant. I have had a number of thought-provoking, intriguing, and downright offensive articles on my vehicles, including a French flag (right around the time Congress held its all-important vote to call french fries freedom fries), an "N-Chips" fish, and a "Middle Class White Guys for Barack Obama" bumper sticker without anyone taking them off or otherwise defacing my vehicle. And I live in Virginia, two hours from the capital of the old South!

Technically, I lost in this, not darwin. Leave him alone! Haha I think the great thing is, I don't make open statements about religion to anyone. A Darwin fish does not mean I don't believe in God or a higher being, it means that I believe in evolution. It is possible to believe in both.

I have a Darwin fish as well, its awesome, the really strict Christians get extremly pissed tho. They say its poking fun at the Jesus (since mine has legs on it)

yes the fish symbol originally started out as a christian symbol (not specifically jesus, but christianity as a whole) on the backs of cars ect.
Somebody came up with the idea of mocking them by taking the fish and writing darwin in the middle and adding legs (legs = evolution of fish into walking, this is symbolism)
so yes chrisitians take offense to it because it was designed to mock them

But in all honesty you are sort of asking for someone to say or do something, I am all for free speech but still. Its kind of like the rebel flag around here (Tennessee) some people could really just be supporting the history of this nation or making other statements. Your in Texas so I am sure you understand. Either way it ruffles a lot of feathers.
This is why I choose to keep my car sticker free! I am a Christian but I will never put a fish on my car simply because I know that I do not represent my beliefs they way I should all the time. Some people look at these symbols way to much!

My vote is for the electric fish that way it works for both sides!!
The wind? No way dude, It'd have to move the car; and if the fish is properly adhised to the car, then it'd require a bit of muscle to get it off. That'd set off the shock sensor.
