Im so mad!

I went to pick my car up after gettin tinted yesterday, went home got some change to go wash it, and i noticed these BASTURDS burnt my mirror on the pass. side, right by the glass. It runs from the top to the bottom of my mirror, and you guys know i just got it painted like 5 months ago, sooo mad!

I knew automatically that it was from a heat gun, it looks like a hot dog thats on a grill right before it turns black...basically fried, and bubbly.

I went back to show the guys at the tint place what they had done, and of course they tried to say they didnt do it and what not, give me a break i told the guy, say what you want this happened today in your shop and the only thing i wanna here from you is what your gonna do to fix it.

Well theres a body shop right next to the tint place so im taking it in at 1:00 today so they can fix it. They're payin for it.
Such bullsh*t and inconvenience, i should have gotten a discount on my tint too right?

but no you should not get a discount on your tint, they mearly should just compenstate the cost of the damages incurred (IE the mirror )

So how'd the tints turn out? Pics?

When I had my windows tinted in my old Nissan, the company didn't put any poly down on the seats or in the back. I was driving away and couldn't figure out why my rear speakers weren't making much sound, popped off the covers and found puddles in my 6x9's. In the end, they did nothing but shrug and told me to let them dry out. They never sounded the same.

i know how that feels . damn lady swinged her door wide open and whacked my car. i sweared alot, she just said what happened ?? i go more pissed showed her the dent and this is 10 days after paint. i called the police and what not.........and guess what..........they didnt do anything

If it was in a parking lot more then likely you were on private property and Police can't do anything there....thats what insurance companies are for :idea:

Well i went and talked to the owner of the shop today and he tried to talk his way out of it, saying that maybe they did or didnt do it.
So i didnt budge, he said we'll split the cost and i laughed and said "yeah right" i felt like slappin the sh*t out of him at this point and i think he could tell.

Long story short we went to the toyo dealership and the shop guys fixen it on monday, im not payin for jack!

Still b.s ill get pics when it stops rainin.

That sucks something fierce alright:( nothing like going to get something simple and routine done and getting something else wrong or broke because of it:/ i hate that stuff...

Now cant you get your windows "dipped" to get tinted as well? Is there a pro/con to either of them? I only ask you becuase once i get my rebate check i am getting my windows done...

man that sucks balls. glad to hear they are paying for it at least.
