in between the rain bloody weather i managed to 90% fit my grounding kit i was always a bit dubious as to it making a difference but im totally converted as my lights are brighter its more responsive and i always had a low idle which i think was earth related now as idles normal now and adds a bit of dress up so im totally pleased






and brighter lights never been this good in daylight


when weather stops raing will tidy up a bit more mad.gif

Really cool; Well-Working headlights are deff a good thing tongue.gif . Looks pretty good to. I'm really diggin the gauges too! Spectactulariffic!!

I'm a little confused on what those things are supposed to help? What's the purpose for them?

Every system on your car including the engine, lights etc must be grounded to the chassis and the battery/alt - usually via the chassis to supply proper power. This just ups the quality and amount of grounds that everything works off of. It makes sense the results Stevest202 is reporting. These are the exact results I expected to see.

Ok, so does that mean you put each ground wire straight to each of those things or just in different locations? Sorry idk about this thing. . Being as descriptive as possible would help. .

yeah, well you guys use that like we use the F word... (Though you guys use the F word too if need-be) I was just wondering witch one was worse... or if Bloody even ranked as a cuss word; when used in proper context. Or is it a nice way of cussing, like, cussing w/o cussing. like:

"i hate that freakin' rain" = "I hate that Bloody rain"

But is better than saying

"I hate that @&#%ing rain"

i got mine off a group buy on ccuk its still on but postage might cost a little more might worth looking local or even ebay but it was well worth it with the differences i noticed smile.gif

Nice one Steve! Got mine in too and the first thing i noticed was a lot of the hiss from my stereo was gone - fan-bloody-tastic! tongue.gif haha!

Idle is more consistent, but can't say that i noticed much difference in torque response or whatever. Alex P on ccuk said that the voltage variation was much better in his GT as a result of installing his, sits at 14V now as opposed to between 13.6V - 13.8V. Did you crush the connector that attaches to your alternator by any chance mate??! biggrin.gif

Clicky But its a UK company so best email them for a shipping quote first. They are aimed at specific engines though, so hopefully they'll fit the 5S-FE - best ask about that too wink.gif

I'm interested to know how bad the stock grounding was? I recently replaced my grounding cable with the same thing but thicker gauge cable and noticed no difference, Where is a good place to hook onto to get good current at the spark plugs?

Before spending any money, you guys should do a voltage drop test on the grounds. If you have a drop in voltage, then add more grounds, if you don't then doing this will be a waste of money.

that is a good idea i can only confirm that on mine it made the differences stated as for point to 1/ from neg battery terminal to chassis two of one goes to front orignal location and the other to body on strut area that is also linked to gearbox from that to opposite strut from there to alternator smile.gif

those dials are well nice mate, do you notice a big difference with the induction kit on (apart from the noise hehe) mine had a stock cotton filter on I'm thinking off changing it back cos after 10 mins or so it doesn't seem as resposive in the higher revs.

did the grounding kit speed up your electric mirrors/windows cos mine are painfully slow this kit may be what i need
