I found tons of posts on how to install and adjust them....but,how do you remove them!?

The 97 LE's alarm ALWAYS goes off and is killing the battery. I want to remove it. is there a certain wire color or module I can just disconnect to disable it? Right now if the alarm is going off you can't start the car.

the stock alarm is usually under the pass side or driver's side seat. Just unplug it if it's there.

If it's an aftermarket alarm then it could be anywhere, usually under the dash panel under the steering wheel (that area).

crap.it's aftermarket. Grr. looks like I am gonna have to rip apart the dash. wish I could just snip a wire :-(
