Today, I finally decided to take my Magnaflow Resonator out and install a 2.25" pipe with a flex to prevent exhaust gasket damage.

Man, my subaru now sounds like a wrx. I am very happy. I now have that strong pulsing sound.

The revs are there and increase quickly up to 6500rpm.

Before, I use to feel a strong resistance at 100Kph. Now, 100 feels normal. THe car wants to cruise @ 120.

But I was surprise to see that it was the resonator that had the car sounding deep and not the exhaust. Believe me when I say deep. I believe around 45Hz. DEEP >>

So if you think that your car is sounding razzy and weed eater loud, get a magnaflow!

where can i get one cheap? how much are they usually?

that is exactly what i have. a magnaflow muffler w/2.25" exhaust piping but it was $200 for everything including installation, which i heard was just a total ripoff lol >> so u should be able to get it for cheaper.
