Ok you guys know how each car has a certain rating in insurance companies right... well do any of you know if the Celica GT's are one of the more highly rated cars (in the US of course ... preferably Midwest region). I'm just wonderin ... I mean it is Toyota and one of the more sportier ones too so I figured it would be.

well take it for what its worth, but i pay $170 a month for a gt coupe, full coverage full glass 250 deductable. Before you think thats high realize that im an 18 year old male on my own policy. Its DIRT CHEAP. My focus i had before was 235 a month. Somehow I think the Celica escapes high premiums...

It has an engine that pushes 95hp at the wheels.
celicas are relatively low probably because of the 5s-fe, which is used also in the camry...
I think what also helps is mostly older people or women bought this gen of celica and just now are younger people getting a hold of them (in the past couple of year) where as the cheaper and more popular civic has been in the hands of many more "racers" and teens that might be one reason the celica is relatively cheap on insurance.
