Filled my window washer tank and cleaned the front windows, but the rear window washer is not even making any sounds when i push the button. Is there a fuse for the rear window washer??? The front ones work fine its just the back. It's just not making any sounds at all.

I'm having the same problem and everyone tells me to poke a needle through it to clear it or check for any leaks....I've yet to see both. Not sure about the fuse thing.

2 pumps run the washers.. 1 pump runs the one on your hood, the other runs the one in the back, case seems to be that the one in the back, has to go such a long distance, it blows the fuse/motor

apparently to get it repaired the part costs $37.

There's a little t-connector thingie on your washer lines IIRC. The connector splices the front lines and the rear line - and tends to become brittle and crack over time. Check this connector and make sure the rear line is connected.

I have a similar problem. Rear washer works but it just runs down the back windshield instead of spraying out. Maybe the holes are plugged. idk

Oh mine dribbles out too... I just figured the rear washer kinda sucks to begin with. That or it has a prostate problem.

Someone said there are two pumps for the sprayers [1 for front and one for back] - that's not true. there is only one pump but it has two signal wires and one ground so I'm gonna assume it's dual action. I'd know already but mine does not work at all. I went to the junkers and saw a few more of them there and all the ones I saw were one single pump unit with three wires coming out so I yanked one from an MR2 cause I only need the fronts [back is now an antenae] and theirs is two wires but fits the same spot. If you guys want pics of the reservoir and sprayers etc, I can get them for you cause the whole mess is laying next to my car in the garage ready to be cleaned up and installed [Somewhere - still haven't worked that out - think I'm gonna have to do DS instaed of PS side due to my IC piping route].

Exactly... hence my original speculation that the t-connector is cracked or broken.

mine just kinda dribbles. my 97 had the same problem. i think it was just poor design on toyota's part.

Not to be a jerk or anything but you say "when you push the button" the rear doesn't work. The button is for the front washers, to activate the rear one you have to turn the end of the stick and hold it.

But I could be wrong I guess, mine is a '97 and the stalks are different, not to mention Dustin put an antenna in place of the rear washer on his '95 so I really can't check and I can't remember. Mine doesn't have the button, I have to pull the stick forward for my front washers and turn the end for the rear.

Hey - I noticed it said the pump must be primed before installation. I wonder if mine is actually working but I need to prime it? Anybody know how?

I never even knew we had rear window washers, I dont really need it anyway
