lol, the bbc is almost unlimited in its wealth.

The standard length of a series (season) in the UK is 6 weeks.
Although i did think Top Gear had more episodes in a season.... kindasad.gif

I'm bumping this so that a new thread doesn't have to be created.

Anybody see the last episode? They tested the LF-A and used some comic-book styling. Annoyed me to no end. Now I'm sad the series is over.

i seen that too and thought the sme thing, why are the making it look like a dumb comic book, although it did awesome going around the track posting the quickest wet lap time ever, and 3 seconds faster then the previous car

Yeah it sounds great, like an F1 car. Some styling cues I don't particularly like but the price is crazy. I'd rather have a Ferrari.

Can't wait for the next series.

Just this series, there are usually 2 series per year. This one started mid-November, and there were 7 episodes. Usually they start late May, early June and end in August/Sept then start again in Nov and last til nowish. Some series have 10 episodes, some 9, 8, 7. IDK how they figure it all out.

Wow, that's short. Then again, I think 13 only has 7 episodes as well.

Anybody see last nights episode? Why on Earth did they compare a Mercedes AMG with a Camaro. Two completely different auto segments, two completely different worlds. Sometimes I just don't understand why they do things.

And that's where the similarity stops. I just hate the idea of comparing a Mercedes, and obviously upper-class car, with an AMG badge, against an American muscle car. German luxury is the echelon of automobiles.Even Clarkson loses the idea of the Camaro. It's a MUSCLE car, not an elegant saloon. It's supposed to be in your face, brash, and powerful.
