They say that turning 35 isn't easy. But for me, last night made it much easier to accept.

My fiance surprised me with a dinner party at one of our favorite Brazilian restaurants with 20 of my close friends. We did the usual chatting, old age jokes, cake, etc. Someone even gave me a shirt for a present. Towards the end of the dinner, my fiance hands me a birthday card and wishes me a happy birthday. I didn't the hush that went over everyone. I opened up the card and a slip of folded paper falls out. I read the card and then I opened the paper. I never would have guessed.

A gift voucher for a complete respray of my car in the color of my choice!

I couldn't believe it! All of my friends pitched in. Its good for 3 months so I have to start planning now as to the color that I want. I'll probably be following this post with a photoshop assist request post soon.

I can't wait to turn 36!

I was actually considering something along those lines. The problem with changing the color of my car a completely different color than a shade of red is that I have to change the title of my car also to reflect the new color. This can take up to a year! So right now, i'm thinking of going with Candy Apple. I know someone on the forum has already done it (somewhere in South America, i think), but no one in Africa yet!
