st205 parts on st185 engine?? - 6G Celicas Forums

i was wondering if the st205 3rd gen 3s intake mani's, afm's, throtle body's, fuel rails, etc fit on the st185 3s? And if they do how much of a gain would you be getting? they have to be somewhat bigger in diameter but the questions is how much and would it be wort it?

I beleive the awnser is no unless you swap the head as well.

gen 3 dont run afm they have map sensors.
intake manis arnt interchangable because gen3 are small port and gen1 and 2 are small port.
throttle bodies i think will swap.
fuel rails im not too sure about, they are a superior rail to the gen2 but you wont get a power increase because of it.

you can swap the heads, but you will need a diff ecu obviously.
