hey guys, i am having trouble removing my driver side axle from my tranny. is there a special method on these cars? i have done it on plenty of civics and it is soo much easier. on a civic i can pry easily but on my celica its round, where do i pry?? thanks

the driver's side is held in by a snap ring in the tranny. Just "pop" axle out with a pry bar or bang it with a hammer and chizze.

What about the passenger side axle? I have the axle itself out, but there is still a piece inside the transmission. Same thing? I know it looks identical, but I had one of my friends pull the motor and trans out and he said he forgot to pop that piece out of the transmission before he went home.
