Common Oil Leak on Celica GTs ???? - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #61485 5 posts Started by Tech-Nics
My beloved 94 GT has started to leak oil and it's leaking out pretty good. I've went under the car as best as i can with out a jack. I noticed the oil pan is clean and there is no leaks coming from the oil pan bolt. Is there any other common places these GTs have oil leaks from. It looks like it coming from behind the oil pan up there. Any ideas? Maybe could be a bad seal??? (My ST204 has 168k miles, Auto).

Thanks for any help. Before I take my baby in to the shop.
Same here...

It did that with my 2

Thing is i'm never missing oil... or max half a pint between each flush

i was actually looking and had the same question. my manual 98 celica GT has been leaking oil for about 6 months now and its only drips here and there once i turn the engine off kindasad.gif . i had talked to the mechanic about it and he said it was most likely a head casket cap issue. i had new seals put on about 6 months ago. does anyone know how to replace that? is there a tutorial for it anywhere? how much would it cost to do it myself vs. the shop?

answers to any of those questions would be great help

Bryan
