I was wondering how much a shop would charge me to replace a L quarter panel. Someone tried to fix it but I looks really bad. I will post pictures later.
How much do replace quartel panel? - 6G Celicas Forums
Why wouldn't you replace it yourself? It's less than 10 bolts all with the same size head [10 or 12mm - I forget] and a phillips head screwdriver for the turns, sidemarkers and dirt shields over the wheel you'll wanna remove to make some room to work. You can usually get a fender for $75-100 already painted from the factory at a local junkyard [Tho I'm starting to think Houston is the only place in the US where you can find 6gc's in the junkyards in abundance].
The shop is gonna charge you several times that - especially if they have to paint it.

you know deaths got a good point just makes sure you line it up right or the hood and fender spacing will be a little off but nothing you couldnt fix in like 3 mins
Oh - ouch. Cutting, welding, blending, painting etc - expect to pay through the nose.

dude i have the same problem! I bought my car like that and ive tried to have it fixed three times already..im still not happy so I decided im doing it myself! its a hard area to work on cuz the curves have to be PERFECT or youll notice very easily. post a picture
front sides= Fenders
Rear sides= Qaurter panels
...and again, death is right. cutting, welding, etc.
You should take a pic so we can see the extent of the damage

I got the car fixed in two different places where they promised me it was going to look perfect and It didn't. I got into fights with both places and got some money back.
I have pics but I don't know how to download them.
I need the car to look perfect so I can start ordering the GT-4 parts

Dude, you seem to forget something; your car is smashed at the worst place a Celica could be. It's monoc, and the quarter panel is one piece with top and rocker panels.
Fixing something that is badly wrecked isnt an easy job and there's alwys a place or two where you can still see it.
One guy charged me $500 to fix mine that was a litlle bit scratch over the wheel and still, i could see it after... that's normal.
Only the quarter panel costs $2500 at Toyota... so don't expect to pay $1k and have a pimped out car that looks just like it was before
