Yeah, that's a giant gap.
I'd say your windows are slipping and incorrectly inserted into the railings, or they're just bent somehow.
you need to remove your door panel, roll your window down, then back up.(make sure there is nothing "pushing" the window out from the rails. remove the outside trim and weather stripping. unbolt the window glass at the bottom where it connects to the regulator arms. Then remove your glass.
to put it back, install the weather stripping onto your window rails first, then slide the window down.(aligning it into one side first, then the other) then you can bolt it back up to the regulator arms. test the window alignment by rolling it up slowly, watching for misalignment.
If it still gets pushed out, try removing a bolt (top or bottom) from the window rail and slightly adjust the window rail out, or in. this should help if the window rails were too tight/loose.

Or it could be something simple -- someone adjusted the position of your window glass and positioned it too high.
another question could it be that the door panels are not 100% secure i mean their not falling off their jus a lil loose and on my celica their is a felt strip on the door panel that isnt pushing on the window from the bottom once you roll it up?
