It has been done the cars have been available outside the US for a While.

Yes it was.

IMHO a sports car is any car you can take to the track on the week ends and have fun.

If it has 4 doors, the kids can come along and watch while Mom or Dad race.
Even a turbo'd minivan would do ok at a drag strip ? Not a canyon carver though.

Damn it.. it has to be so technical, so what is it? Economical sport-wannabe-car? Good pricing sporty looking car? Or just whatever compact car with ground effect body work? lol
