Hey Guys,

I bought a secondhand near-side driveshaft and when my mechanic tried to fit it, on the st205, he said that it was the wrong one. He said the one i had been sold had a bolt-on fixing on the end, whereas the one i needed has splines on both ends.

Some other guy said that the one i had was for a st202 non turbo.

Is this true? Or is there different models of st205 that take a different driveshaft?




Is it the rear driveshaft?

the st185 and MR2s are like that. That's definatly not a st205 shaft.

The story goes like this.
Phoned the guy up who i bought the part from and told him is doesnt fit a st205, then he starts getting a bit angry telling me he knows what he is talking about, and then starts listing all the cars he has broken up for spares.
So then i say i wasnt questioning his car knowledge, and all i want is money back, and ill pay for sending it back etc.
so he says ok, then i suggest it was for a st202 not st205, this was when he gets a bit more angry, tells me more about his infinate knowledge, and hangs up the phone.

LOSER or what

Does anyone know for sure what car this part is off, so i can shove it in his face?? lol
