well i feel like a noob BUT i cannot get it out. its not working to try and align/bolt up the trans with the drivers side in (left it in because i couldnt get it out in the first place) so HOW do i get this damn thing out?

you need to use a fork pry-bar thingy.. i'm not sure what the exact name for it is but it's specifically used for prying out axles.
or if you wanna do it the brutal way, just push it inward towards the tranny and launch your whole body backwards and yank that *hit out.. lol

mmmm i want to try to get it w/o taking it out of the spindle, i got the pass side like that so why not the drivers. and purplegt4 i dont have any messages from you in e-mail or PM on here

it's going to be difficult installing it back on with a spindle. There is a lock ring at the end of the axle and that requires a lil push to get it in.

Prying it with a pry bar would be your best option.
you don't need to remove the spindle entirely, if i recall correctly you just need to remove the 2 strut bolts and the center axle nut and you should at least pull teh axle from the spindle. from there just pry out the axle from the tranny.

ok i have the strut loose already but what sie is the spindle nut? 30mm deep?

I had to pull the motor out with the axle still in it because regardless of how hard we pryed on it it just wouldn't pop out. Anyone have any suggestions on removing it besides just yanking the crap out of it?
