Ever heard of the term... BS? Hehe... Until he throws out a dyno sheet with a hp/torque curve to 11k rpms... he's just confused... watched too much Initial D. He also mentions 7.5 psi... 11psi... on what looks like a stock turbo... heh...

What does a stock 7th gen rev to ?

The stock CT26 Can boost that high. 8-11 is stock according to the manual.

??? tisoy1sgr
??? The estimated horsepower is around 300hp to the crank at 11000 rpms.

I Have No idea Where he got That info though ? No 3sgte can rev That high ?
Stock rev limit is 7.2k. Possibly 9 or so with work... biggrin.gif

??? no the rpm gauge doesn't read correctly. would have to have an aftermarket rpm gauge installed.

He has No idea himself. Unless he mis-understood what the dyno operator said.

I am Curious though. That will Never pass any Legitimate inspection or emission
test in CA Will it ???? 96+ is OBDII. Plus CA is Very strict about swaps ? Need a major hook up.

two words, one symbol, one number: thermal efficiency @ 11,000rpms

Hence the BS flag. Refer to previous reply. He doesn't know what he's talking about. Pure race built n/a 4 bangers only sometimes rev to 10K... 11k

RPM gague would still work... He has no idea. But that doesn't matter anyway now does it? The dyno operator wouldn't make that mistake either. 11K rpms is a feat and significant building is required. And... no... this car will NEVER pass in CA legally.

Or maybe just not enough Initial D.

You can never watch too much Initial D. smile.gif
