I have the crank pulley notched at 0 degrees an the cam gear set at "U" (the first cylinder is TDC), not sure if this is right as per haynes manual..any help much appreciate..

have u taken out ur plugs and cleaned and gaped them??and checked ur wires and distributor??
it could also possibly be fuel...
