Starter kill used to switch off ECU... - 6G Celicas Forums

Anyone ever think or try using the starter kill relay on the B+ line of the ECU to disable the engine completely?
I think the would be a little more secure than just a starter kill since if you try to hotwire the car you'll notice that and would be able to bypass it..

just a thought to make our cars just a bit more secure.

that would work. but every time your alarm sets off you will lose all your ecu's settings making you lose mpg and car run funny untill adjusts.

Smarter to cut the fuel pump power.
