Honestly, police won't do $#!T unless it is at that moment. Bottom line is carry something that can protect you, but you cannot kill him (not me saying it, it's the law). That way there is a report filed, so when you are questioned, it is on paper you had a problem and they (the police) didn't do $#!T (because really, what can they do? Talk to the guy? C'mon). Maybe a restraining order. So keep a phone handy, carry a weapon (seen a nice 6" needle in a self defense magazine or something), and you would probably want to ditch the chick too. Because no ass is worth some wounds. She wouldn't take it for you, I don't care who you are.

Ok so tonight was the homecoming football game for my school. I went to show some support. we on 67-0 lol. but anyway, I was on my way back to my car and i see the "crazy ex" by my car. LEANING on it. i was about 20 yards away and asked wth he wanted. he pushed him self off my car and then spat on it. SPAT! on my car. and lately ive been on a short fuse. so it made me snap. cause this guy wasnt gonna stop doin **** wether i ahd police involved or not. but i started walkin towards him and he pulls out his knife again. i stoped adn called him a pu**y and a coward for pulling a knife out. told him to face me like a man. i had no where to go. adn no where to run. me and him where the only to peolpe in the lot at the time cause i left 10 minutes early to avoid traffic. he starts walking towards me at a fast pace and i was just preparing myself to defend a knife attack. I could tell he didnt know how to use a knife from the way he was holding it. but anyway hes lunged at me with the knife. he swung the knife with his right hadn over his left shoulder and across his body to try and slash me. i did like a foot ball juke backwards and when his arms opend up i ran toward him and grabed his wrist with the knife and put my arm on his one shoulder. i took my foot and swept it under his and took him to the ground. the knife dropped and i kicked it away. he got up fairly qucik adn tagged me with a shot to the ribs. he tryed throwin this massive haymakers at me adn i covered up with my arms to block. and he kept swingin left right left right. i timed it and tagged him in the nose with a jab. and then a straight. when i threw the right straight he stumbled back a bit like it definatly rocked him. but he ran towards me like he was gonna tackle me (he used to play football) and all i did was back up grab his head and drive my kneww into his face. hes dropped to the ground adn i saw blood comin from his nose. i straight up KO'd his ass. but anyway i wasnt gonna stick around so i got in my car and peaced out with him layin there. i looked in my mirror and i saw him gettin up so i know he wasnt dead. So yea. ive had soem crazy ass week. i hope it goes back to normal for next week.

I'd also suggest putting in a police report, so that if he decides to try to use this incident against you he'll be trying to overcome an existing report and be on the defensive.

Just drop into your local police station, tell them you need to report an assault. It'll be your word against his, so the likelyhood of it going anywhere is small, but having the report on the record is greatly helpful if things get even stupider.

You might also want to call the girl and let her know you're reporting this. If she freaks over you reporting it, drop her. If she freaks over him being an idiot, consider keeping her.

Wow I am glad you didn't get hurt that's some scary stuff...yea I don't no if I would want you sticking around that girl...you don't no whats next...and it kinda doesn't say much for her to have date a guy like that in the past...unless he snapped after they broke up or he change for the worse and that's why she left him...just be careful.

yea im really just about to drop this girl. she was special to me i really liked her. but i dont wanna have to watch my back everywhere i go. and if i encounter him again i may not come out the victor. I saw her standing with him at the game. and i texted her and asked wtf she was around him. she said he flipped on her and she was afraid to leave. she needs to learn to stand up for herself. but i think im done with her. i just gotta think.

She's playing you bro - seen that many many times. Regardless, she's not worth the effort no matter who she is.
