choosing paint color - 6G Celicas Forums

Manny is gonna be repainting my car soon enough.(once he gets more time there is no rush)

Ill be putting the trd sides on and the rear lip on..(well Manny will be putting it on not me)..that I am really excited for smile.gif.

I love the color of my car now Manny did an awesome job...but he gave me another option that I really really have grown attached to.
I really think I am going to switch it up and go with the new color but just wanted to see what 6gc would do.

I have 2 pictures of the colors next to each other..They aren't the best pictures but you should get the idea.

Seriously man, that black with red pearl just looks so badass. Can't wait to see the whole car in that color biggrin.gif!!

i voted for the course metalic. because i fear that at a distance. (depending on how much flake is used) it could appear burgandy.

at least the black red pearl seems TOO red from the photos.

migga, the only time you see the red pearl is in the direct sun.
in the shade, or when its cloudy or whatever, you basicly dont see the pearl at all, the color looks black.

red pearl FTW. wink.gif

understood mig, i knew you wernt.
in the direct sun, you get the effect you see in that pic, the car appears a "cherry black" as i call it..lol its black, with the red pearl.

I don't normally drive fast, but when I do its on a curvy section of this island

the paint that is on shannons car right now is a single stage paint, with an intergrated clear coat.
