Well I now am sorry to say I no longer have my Celica...as I wrecked it driving down the highway yesterday...somehow i was driving an I completely lost steering so my car swerved to the right ..I slammed on the brakes but it was too late ...I side swiped a EVO 8 and rear ended a van...needless to say I didnt have insurance so now Im out of a car which really sucks...But anyway after we pulled to the side of the road i saw the problem with why my steering went out...the (control arm) (i think thats what it is) had broken so only the drivers side wheel was turning in completely snapped off the passenger side wheel...so now my life is officially gonna suck without a car

I'm really sorry for you, I know how it feels to be without a car. But not having insurance really sucks, sorry good luck.

but i think if i just get a new control arm i can drive the car even with the body damage..but im not sure yet
yea you will. i bet that evo 8 owner is FUMING. and running into vans is a bad idea, it usually doesnt look good to jurys when you drive without insurance and crash into a family car. good luck to you. i hope they dont tear you limb from limb.
then again there are nice people in the world, who as long as you pay for their damages (which on a brand new evo is going to mean CHA CHING, and without insurance means out of pocket.) wont press charges.... so hopefully the evo owner isnt some anal retentive dude who likes easy money...

damn that sucks man
i would scrap the idea for an eclipse now. a turbo car with an accident involving 3 cars isnt good for rates
ill probably just get a gs eclipse then...im gonna have to get something else..and at least it something i want..it doesent have to be turbo..i can always do that later

Actually, you can have a jury in civil lawsuits. I know in some cases it is only on appeal, but in others you can go straight to a jury trial.
well its gonna be like 120 bucks to make my car drivable...damage was less than we thought...it might need a new steering gear which is like 800 bucks or something...but we gotta wait till it gets to my stepdads shop tomorrow so he can check

sell your celica and get a gs then swap in a 1st gen 6 bolt from a gs-t and do the tranny and axles and everything else too.
