Ok so I was on my way to school today and i was late as usual. there were 2 cars going under the speed limit. so i see a passing zone pop up. I decided to pass and i see a 3rd car. so i was halfway done passing so i figuerd id jsut pass the other guy. next thing i know i haver this toyota truck on my tail. i see no lights or anything. i pulled into the school and parked. the guys gets outta his truck and asks for my license. i noticed he wasnt in full uniform. he had his blue top on and the black pants but had no belt on with the guns, handcuffs, etc. so it wasnt full uniform. i gave him my license and he wrote down some number and said that i will get a citaiton in teh mail. He didnt say who he was or anything. i couldnt even tell what police station he was from. Should i fight this? it doesnt seem right. he was definatly off duty.

lol. yea ive had some bad luck lately. it should all pass soon. but what im going to do is find out when the officer is off duty and will get a court date for wehn hes of duty. Cops wont show up to that stuff when they are off duty

well i do know is that a off duty cops can arrest you if you did something illegal like rob a bank and stuff like that..but yeah if i was you fight it. most likely the cop will forget about it and never file anything.

in NJ you have to be super extra lucky to pull that one off, police officers get paid over time just to be in court, they love it. and that ticket you can fight it, I'm not saying you'll win but you can fight it. remember is a case like this is his word against yours unless you had a passenger.

well i admitted my mistake. But the name calling kinda pissed me off. I may be only 17 but i do understand respect and deserver some as well. So ur saying youve never gotten a ticket or a fine of anykind for driving? Ive said several times that i screwed up. No offense but I dont need you tellin me that i screwed up.
