How much weight reduction in my celica can i expect if i start getting rid of all the unecessary stuff??
thanks
it really depends on what you call "unnecessary"
AC components both in the engine bay (probably ~30lbs) and on the inside (~15lbs)
Sunroof (~25lbs)
backseats (~10-15lbs)
plastics (~5-7lbs)
you should be able to remove at least ~50lbs worth of stuff. and maintain decent street ability.
there is however ways to get up to /over 100lbs easy.
i once weighted stuff but can't remember exact weights)

No idea of the weight you'd lose but here's some suggestions...
Underbonnet heatshield/sound deadening
Floor mats, boot carpet
Small battery
Catalytic converter to straight pipe
Remove Spoiler
Racing seats
Lightweight mag wheels
Carbon fiber muffler
Mike W1996 Toyota Celica ST205 GT-FOURGT2860RS turbine, TiAL mvr44, JE 86.5φ piston, Clutchmasters FX400, APEX P-FC269awhp / 273ft-lbs
one time i just cleaned out everything i had sitting around in the car and weighed it as i did... 130 lbs.. so keeping your car clean/trunk empty will help a lot. i know it sounds like common sense but i never realized how much i had in there until i weighed it all! (*I took out the spare and jack when i did this)
nvm
