i recently purchased 4 gts rime with three tires ($200) not bad... the tires are bfgoodrich traction t/a v. i also have these on my 15" stock alloys. according to tire rack reviews these tires kinda suck. does anyone have a tire that they love on these 16" rims? if so what are they?

I have toyo proxies on my gts wheels I don't "love them" but I can honestly say they are the best tires I've ever owned. Good tracton, comfort, low noise level and great tread wear. Haven't driven them in the snow yet though.

i have yokohama avid vs4's. they are really nice. kind of pricey but have very good traction ratings.

you could get the neo gens as well. those are popular

i dont like proxie 4s, falken 452s have been great for me
x2 on the Falken 452's. That's what I had when I had my GTS wheels.
i had bf goodrich g-Force kdw tires when i still had my gt-s rims. imo they had too much grip. smile.gif perhaps too good for a stock motor.. but oh man going fast through turns = fun!

i heard falkens generally have bad tread wear

I like my Goodyear Eagle GT's. Mostly b/c they handle soo well in the rain as well as on dry pavement (need to be ready for rain here).

We're all gonna come up with different answers to this question but for my $$$ I love the Yokohama Parada Spec II's for the twisties and the launch they provide. Perfect tire for that wheel IMO.

I also like the ridiculous rim protector on those tires. I got them for my new Enkei 16" rims.

That's why I got them. For an all-season tire, they aren't too beefy looking, yet arn't a low profile tire. I might look into some Falkens next, but hopefully that won't be for a nother few years since these are rated at lasting 50k miles (depending on how you drive, of course).
