I have a chance to get localy a 2nd generation 3sgte for $900 (which i can talk the price down a little) that includes engine, awd trany, complete wiring harness. It comes with not thing else. I have a few questions though.

I know since I have an st i will need motor mounts, tranny, and of couse the ecu (since it doesn't come with one). Will the awd trany work in just front wheel drive? Also what are the other things i need to do the swap?

Sorry I'm sure the last question has already been answered, but info would be appreciated.

You can get a complete second gen with everything for $900 dollars more. With the price you are paying you will be missing a lot of the vital components.
