Hahaha hey, I love how our cars look, but I never see any other guys driving them. I only hear legends and rumors in this forum. There are 6 6th Gens within a 200 mile radius of me (I keep tabs on them- I guess I'm kind of a stalker or something) and I'm the only guy driving one. And I've noticed every time I see a Miata or another Celica or something driving by, I'm looking to check out the girl driving it lol. But I've noticed every time some redneck drives by in a lifted F250 or something like that, they are always looking and checking me out too lol. I always get a kick out of seeing their reactions when they expect to see a decently attractive girl sitting behind the wheel then they see me. (I live in a very chauvinistic region where guys MUST drive trucks and girls MUST drive cars- it's a very backwards way of life here.) My friends and I have all had our laughs about it lol. One night I was really ripping on myself and one of my best friends who happens to be a girl walks up and she's like "Aww, don't feel bad. Hot chicks love guys who drive Celicas!"

Sorry for that novel lol. Just my thoughts. But hey, I'm always tempted to go talk to the girls that own the other Celicas. The problem is I've always got my girlfriend with me, so it'd be kinda bad if I'm like "Hey, I'm gonna go make a new friend just because she drives the same kind of car as me."

^^^I agree that it appears that its mainly chicks that drive celicas here to.

When i got mine everyone was like thats a chicks car....thats untill they drive it. I would say that it is true because it has the curves of a woman (maybe its just me that thinks that).

Anyway in my observations the probabilities of people driving celicas is

~70% Female
~30% Asian (mainly Japanese and including woman)
~5% White Male

^yeh around where i live too, before i bought the car. People were like celicas are chicks car man, etc. And yeh alot of chicks do drive around in it, but hey its got lots of potential and who cares what people think. If you like it go for it, everyone has their own opinion

I could see it being a chick car, but I've never been ragged on for it.

People only tell me it's a girl's car until they drive mine too. Then the most common quote I have is "It handles like a dream, and no matter how fast you're going, it wants to go faster." Of course, like I said, this region is predominantly guys drive trucks, girls drive cars. So those guys are used to their trucks when they drive my car so they think it's actually fast lol.
