first snowfall - 6G Celicas Forums

we just had our first snowfall over here.. it was 20 C (68 F) 2 days ago and now it's -15 C (5 F).. this year's weather is gonna be more spontaneous kindasad.gif i won't be surprised if all the snow melted a week from now.

driving 30 km/s (8mph) for 45 mins due to icy roads is not fun but i still managed to plow my way through and make it to school tongue.gif.. it hurts to hear chunks of snow grind along the bottom. i'm on the lowest setting on my coilovers, i suppose i should raise it 3" for the winter? rally style!...lol.

this year i'm planning on doing a couple of more winter-prep mods...

it will be cool to see snow when I go back to ny this Xmas.

I love snow I guess since i snowboard. But, the whole salt issue sucks

man..i wish we got that amount of snow here..so far we only got like..an inch and it keeps melting.

I hate seeing nice cars on snow... it just hurts me thinking about the salt problems....

i wish i had LSD at least that way i can take off a little better at stop signs or red lights.. my next car though would definitely be awd.
do gt-fours come with LSD?

I'm a little jealous, I usually hate snow but its getting to be so cold here that it might as well snow lol.. can't wait to do some handbrakes....handbrakes in snow = greatest fun you can have in a FWD without eating up your tires tongue.gif

i love snow but i hate having to shovel and scrape ice from my windows.. (i'm sure you've seen my driveway in my pics.. not fun).
but yeah, i board too and i'm going with a few of my friends to calgary this feb to visit some other friends and drive to the mountains.. i've already prepped my snowboard and bought some new gear:

the st205 had lsds in the front and rear diff. I believe only the 93 st185 had an lsd diff up front.

I've honnestly only seen it once in my life... then after 10 minitues it was just wet and muddy... Although it's more possible that i may have dreamed it... kindasad.gif IDK...

No dude, The last time it snowed here, i was like 12 or 13 when i lived over where you live now. (Woodland Pines Tralor Park over on Fairbanks by Winners Pizza)

Maybe because i was living out 'twards Tomball at the time... i didn't get that snow. frown.gif
