if it was independant of the current economy, yes our cars would probably worth that, but becuase of the economy right now, and the fact that all the dealerships are giving all these deals on new cars right now, so lately theres been a flood of used cars for sale right now, our cars are worth much less, if you try to sell a flawless 1997 celica for 15K you will probably just get laughed at.

last one i looked at at a dealer was a 99 gt hatch with 69,000 mi on it and it was absolutley TRASHED on the inside, for 13,950. Go Figure...
Car #3: 98 Accord LX- purchased 5/06, totaled 8/06Car #2: 95 Celica GT- purchased 8/03, current daily driverCar #1: 01 Focus ZX3- purchased 5/01, sold 8/03
thats because its a dealership and they charge you out the anus. all they care about is what the odometer reads and what year and model the car is, nothing else.

That's the dealer's asking price. Dealers always come down several thousand on a used car in that price range. They'll spend 3 hours b.s.ing you and then give it to the price you asked for when you first walked in. In my experience anyway.
