okay, so i've had these new airbags sitting around forever and i'm finally going to put them in. I have both airbags and the front 2 senors, however.... do i have to replace the ECU as well? I've heard that you do, and i've heard that you don't have to....

can i just reset it like this (thread link for pic below) and get away without buying a new ecu? or do i have to replace it?







and when people say "center sensor" and "main control module", they are referring to the ECU, correct?

1 replace, no you don't have to.

2 yes. The center sensor and main control module is the SRS ECU.

Try clearing the code (it's tricky to do but it does work)
